Privacy Policy

Effective date: April 7, 2026 · dev@botpresso.com

Botpresso ("we", "our", "us") operates the OnCrawl MCP (Model Context Protocol) service, which gives Botpresso team members read-only access to the organization's OnCrawl technical SEO data from AI-based tools. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when using our services.

1Information We Collect

The service reads, on your request, data from the OnCrawl account our organization holds — projects, crawls, crawl comparisons, log monitoring and ranking data. To attribute usage, it records for each tool call:

  • Your work email address (from Google sign-in)
  • The tool used, the OnCrawl project or crawl identifier it addressed, the outcome and its duration
  • For failed calls, the first 300 characters of the error message

Tool arguments and results are not stored. Sign-in uses Google via Firebase Authentication; we never receive or store Google account passwords.

2How We Use Information

We use the accessed data strictly for internal purposes, including:

  • Generating analytics insights within AI-based tools
  • Supporting internal reporting and analysis workflows
  • Improving service functionality and performance

3Sign-in

Google sign-in is used only to verify that you hold a verified Botpresso Workspace account. Only your email address and name are read from it. We do not use this data for advertising or marketing purposes.

4Internal Use and Data Access

This application is intended for internal use only by our team. Only verified @botpresso.com accounts can sign in, and only the OnCrawl workspaces our organization holds are reachable. Every tool is read-only.

5Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share user data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. Data may be processed through secure infrastructure solely to deliver the service.

6Data Retention

Per-call usage records are deleted automatically after 90 days. Users may request deletion of their data at any time by contacting us at dev@botpresso.com.

7Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

8User Rights

Users may:

  • Remove the connector from their AI tool, which ends its access
  • Request deletion of data
  • Discontinue use of the service at any time

9Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
